On Kawara Recreations

I re-enacted two of On Kawara's most famous projects: I Got Up and I Went. Both projects involve daily documentation of the artist's life. In I Got Up, I mailed a postcard every day stating "I GOT UP AT" and the appropriate time of day, as well as the address where I woke up. In I Went I drew a map of my travels (whether by foot, subway, or airplane) every day for a year.
