Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing 51
LeWitt's description of Wall Drawing 51, which is drawn using a carpenter’s chalk line, is, “All architectural points connected by straight lines.” Thus, this work appears radically different each time it is installed. The images above are from a 2008 exhibition at the Fuel Collection in Philadelphia, the images below are of the same drawing installed at the Scope Miami Art Fair in 2009.
