Eric Doeringer is a Los Angeles-based artist who remakes work by other artists. He has exhibited at institutions including MoMA PS1, The Whitney Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, MassMoCA, and La Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris. Doeringer’s artwork and books are in the collections of MoMA, The New York Public Library, The Whitney Museum, The Brooklyn Museum, The Getty Center, SFMOMA, The National Gallery of Canada, The Baltimore Museum, and numerous university libraries.

Recent exhibitions include Eric Doeringer at ICA Miami (2025), It’s a Free Concert From Now On at Delahunty, London (2025), Coming Attractions: the John Waters Collection curated by Catherine Opie and Jack Pierson (2023), The Brode, A Hug From the Art World, Los Angeles (2020), Christy’s, A Hug From the Art World, New York (2019), The Artist is Present, curated by Maurizio Cattelan, The Yuz Museum, Shanghai (2018); and Ed Ruscha: Books & Co., curated by Bob Monk, Gagosian Gallery, New York (2013) [traveled to Gagosian Gallery, Los Angeles (2016), Gagosian Gallery, Paris (2015), and Museum Brandhorst, Munich (2013)].
