Rental Gallery and A Hug From The Art World are pleased to present Eric Doeringer: The Brode at the Felix Art Fair, which takes place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel from February 13-16, 2020.
The Brode, conceived specifically for Felix, will offer for-sale Doeringer’s “bootleg” interpretations of more than 30 artworks from the collection of billionaire philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad, including works by Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Ed Ruscha, John Baldessari, Richard Prince, and Jeff Koons, among others.
The Brode pays homage to Los Angeles’ most famous art collection and eponymous museum. Doeringer’s bootlegs will be offered at a fraction of the price of their originals, giving collectors visiting Felix the opportunity to acquire their own versions of masterpieces from the collection. The Rental Gallery booth will be transformed into a symbolic museum shop with Doeringer’s Bootlegs acting as souvenirs.
